Georgian is a challenging language to learn and there are unfortunately few quality ressources to help people to learn this beautiful old language.
On this website, you can find a course to learn the basic of Georgian ( A1 ).
This course has been made by a Georgian teacher and a Georgian learner, and was made from a learner perspective.
We tried to simplify as most as we could, there is no useless grammar and not a single that you wouldn’t need in real life.
Content of the course :
Over 50 lessons and quizz
5 hours of video
A list of 100 transparent words easy to learn and useful for a tourist : museum, ticket, information, supermarket.
Grammar content : negation, possessive pronouns, present tense, questions-
At the end of the course, you will be able to read signs in Georgian, introduce yourself, have a small talk, tell and ask the time, ask information, order a restaurant, a taxi or a room.
The course has been edited by a proofessionnal video editor, as you can see on the free videos on YouTube. Voice-over are from native English speaker and native Georgian speaker.
During this course, you won’t only watch some videos because nobody has ever learned a language just by watching a video, instead, we will keep you active, we ask you to read, repeat, translate, answer to some questions etc….
